From November 25 to 27, "IEEE CAS Seasonal School on ai-driven Circuit, System,and EDA Tools", jointly sponsored by the department of micro-electronics and artificial intelligence research institute of Shanghai jiao tong university, was successfully launched in the building of School of microelectronics of Shanghai jiao tong university.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a hot topic in recent years, permeating our daily life and driving innovation in all walks of life. AI research fields from hardware acceleration, energy saving system architecture, design methods and tools to neuromorphic computing, algorithms and applications, in order to promote the development of AI technology, circuit architecture, computing platform, software algorithms and system application innovation is particularly important.
The course is designed to promote the development of AI as an interdisciplinary field, providing IEEE members and Chinese students with more opportunities to understand and grasp the ai-led design methods of circuits and systems and the use of EDA tools. Courses include: Low-power Adaptive Neuromorphic Systems, brain-inspired Computing, Intelligent System Design and Artificial Intelligence in Cadence, etc., are rich in content, combining theory with practice. Participants were given training in practical skills.
On the morning of the first day of the course, Mr. Li yongfu from the department of micro-electronics of Shanghai jiao tong university made an opening speech in the lecture hall of the school of microelectronics, elaborated on the purpose and significance of the course, and introduced the course arrangement for the next three days.

This course invited ten outstanding professors and experts from around the world, covers the academia and industry, not only from nanyang technological university in Singapore, duke university, zhejiang university, sichuan university and China university of electronic science and technology university, and from Candence companies and enterprises such as the United States national instruments (NI) co., LTD., is its own area, with original ideas on the vivid and wonderful lecture.

In the class, the students asked questions for their doubts, and the professors patiently answered them one by one, creating a strong academic atmosphere in the class.
At the end of the course, Mr. Li yongfu and Mr. Zhao jian presented certificates of honor and exquisite gifts to each instructor.
